Braun and Remmington are ones I have used in recent Years ! Both are Mains/Battery operated and with re-chargeable Batteries.
Look out for Special Offers in the Shops.
yell.........if its first razor. let him borrow yours and save money.

Hi there is a couple on that website that seem quite reasonable - thanks
Thinking of spending around £40 - hes getting lots of whiskers and they are really annoying me!!!
teach him to wet shave - its more hygenic and one can still shave in unlikely places like a jungle river or glacial lake, as I have........

haha anneasquith - think he already does!!
My Dad and my ex both always used and swore by (not at!) the phillips triple head ones. Just don't ever let him use a yellow bic disposable razor if you love him
For a first razor it has to be a Philips rotary- quieter, smoother and more comfortable than other makes particularly on sensitive skin. Have used them all my life (well, from 14!) So has my father!
....incidentally, there are some good half-price offers at Boots currently.
Seriously, depends on your hair colour - in my case electric razors have killed me but I am a redhead - and for Bics, well bloody murder. And as to shaving cream, I have found Clinique to be the best - Gillette makes me come out in more acne spots than a Dalmatian.
You can't beat a Braun.

If you buy this one and add a cheap toy or light bulb to get it over £50, you get a £5 voucher aswell.

Interesting....both Which? Best Buy razors are Philips rotary.
My son has a Phillips rotary, and it's hardly quiet.

It sounds like a Lancaster bomber!
I'm afraid you won't get any agreement on this subject.

Personally I would tell him to never bother trying to wet shave.
Agree with you there, Hopkirk!

Thank you everyone :-)
as a redhead, i do not agree - and one of the great experiences in life is to be professionally wet shaved.........................
with a cutthroat - now sending him for a session on that would be more original as a pressie
And as another redhead i do not agree with you, DT!
Question Author
Didnt mean to start an argument! If i sent him for a professional wet shave he would be scared stiff he's only 15!!
