Have you made a Boo-Boo lately?

My friend made me laugh, she moved in to a new flat a couple of weeks ago a nice flat nicely decorated. She said there's a stain on the kitchen wall that was annoying her, she'd scrubbed it but to no avail and said she couldn't live with it. So she got the local handy-man in to paint the wall.
When finished she went to inspect it but the stain was still there, she told the man he hadn't done a v/good job. "What stain" he said, when she pointed it out he laughed and reached up and touched the light shade and the stain moved, it was the shadow of the light shade all the time. DOH!

(I think she's going to 'Specsavers' next week)

My mother once called out the TV repairman to fix a broken set. He put the plug in, switched it on and charged her £25.

My mums friend asked me to take her watch and have a new battery fitted in it. Did I feel stupid when the man in the shop said." This is a wind up watch", and looked at me with pity!

My mum drove the wrong way up one of the car park lanes the other day. Everyone was bibbing at us and I had to hide under the glove compartment in shame!
