Mattify your skin! (Clear powder & Primers)
Ok so I got some pressed powder to put over my foundation that I use (a liquid one) as I got told it would make my skin more matte-looking and it would make it look a little bit more cakey but it just gives it a better finish all round. I heard you can get clear pressed powder so it doesn't actually have a colour to it (so won't make it look cakey) but will still give the same 'matte' effect.. has anyone tried this and is it good/would you recommend it
OR....
Should I get a primer and this would stop the cakey look? Are primers good? What one should I get?
I don't know.. just what makeup is good? Nothing too expensive mind! I heard it is good to keep changing your makeup.. why? Is this true? It's such a pain finding the one that suits you best! Are clinique good for teenage girls or too heavy and pricey?
Sorry for all the questions!

Some high street products can be good but make up like benefit and mac is worth investing in if you really want to achieve a nicer look. Everyone will have different opinions on what they prefer but I do belive splashing out can help. youtube make up ideas and stuff to get the desired effect you are after really. I use a primer, but you put it on before your foundation and it apparently keeps your make up on for longer. I dont particularly notice the difference if im honest. Mac has good transluscent powder for using on the face after foundation.
Sophie-if you are a teenager-you really don't need a lot of make-up,especially if you might have problem skin.
Maybe what you should do,is go to the biggest department store near you-House of Fraser is good...or a large branch of Boots....and get your make-up done. Try all the ones on offer, get samples if you can....and pick their brains for advice.
