I rang the Fracture Clinic on Friday and told them what I was experiencing in my leg.. woman instantly said to go to A&E. So did as I was told for once in my life lol
Went there and saw a doctor who had actually seen me the night after I had had surgery that day as had complications.
Long story short - they took the cast off instant relief was bliss.. Both wounds are healing perfectly and no infection.. NO blood clot that they can detect too.
One of the plaster technicians came in.. instantly said who put your foot at that angle in the cast. So told him it was the woman who originally did my cast. Well she had put my ankle/foot at the complete wrong angle!! My foot was just under a 45 degree angle.. where with the injury I have and where the wounds are it needs to be set at a good 90 degree angle.
So the way my foot was set.. it was constantly pulling at me nerves.. the wounds that were healing and my calf muscle. Which was causing the burning pain as if i had been running and got that burning feeling you get in your chest.
Stupid bloody woman. So we had to gingerly get my foot at 90 degrees which took a lot of very tiny movements and painkillers lol Then got re plastered into right position. Instantly feels better... obviously still in the normal pain but not in as much discomfort :)
Got fracture clinic on tuesday so fingers crossed everything will be ok again.

It's no wonder I was in bloody agony.. I can actually move my big toe now properly too as could barely get any movement in it with old cast and position of foot. Even my mrs has noticed a difference In me now.. As was sat there literally with pain all day and night.
Just glad it was nothing serious.

Thanks sqad wanted to keep you updated as you are always such a wonderful help and very very much appreciated.
I left the old cast at hospital.. tbh it looked like a blood massacre on the inside from the wounds lol So didn't particularly want it lol
But the technician i spoke to asked me to describe who had done it and instantly he knew.. She was the reason he left that department and went to a&e instead.. Her attitude stinks. He said I can ask for someone else if it is her on especially with what she did..
