This should have been mentioned to you at the time you had your jab - didn't they give you an info leaflet?
Well done you, for having it done - they've just said on the radio that so many people didn't take it up, that we are looking at a bigger flu epidemic in coming weeks. I had mine!

I've not had a flu jab, the surgery didn't even invite me for one this year (maybe because I NEVER have one). I have emphysema and asthma so 'should' have the vaccine but as I rarely leave the house and have minimal contact with anyone from outside my immediate family I am not really at risk of coming into contact with flu infected folks.
Daffy. My disabled niece's doctor came to the house to give her her flu jab. I think this is a facility you could use. Even if you don't come into contact with many people there is always the danger that you might get it. People are careless about spreading their germs around and you are already at risk with your emphysema and asthma. If they don't offer it you should ask for it - even demand it.
Have the flu jab every year for safety sake, as bugs may be on anything that comes into your house, even your pos,t that have been recently touched by a person whom is infected with a virus. Bugs can live for 2-3 days so wash hands regularly in warm water and keep a bottle of Hand Sanitizer handy at all times, then you should be much safer.
