hormone imbalance

hi all
following on from my previous posts.. sorry about all questions....
if i have an hormone imbalance what can i do or take to sort it out?..... i have had bloods done the first lot was L/H hormones or S/H but doc didnt really look at them as they were ment to be testing me for progesterone to see if i was ovulating... which thank god i am as im trying for a baby.... also if i have an imbalance could this be stopping me from getting pregnant.... thanks

If your problem is hormonal then you can be given medication to help with that - although it has side effects you could be given something like Clomid to assist with ovulation. Certainly the imbalance could have an effect but it depends what it is, and your consultant/GP will advise. It's specialist stuff and you can't change it (IMO) by any change in diet etc. - you need clinical input.
i have told doc when i went about trying for a baby and it not happening, i mentioned the bleeding inbetween periods and that i have been trying for a baby for a long time .. he didnt seem bothered about the bleeding and he just concentrated on the not concieving which is why i have been refered to hospital..... should i explain this at hospital when i get my appointment or do you think they wont be interested either
