I am not speaking from personal experience, but anti depressants combined with alcohol can exacerbate the effects of "getting drunk"
You may lose complete control and total impairment of moral judgement.
That, I presume will be your defense.

Have a look as Sandy says , at the info sheet that comes with the medication.
You should also try going to your GP to get a proper opinion.
It's not impossible that your medication could have been a factor in your behaviour. Proving this, however, is another matter.
I think you also need to consult a solicitor.

I'm on antidepressants and went on a work night out on saturday night and don't remember about 90% of the night.
Don't remember buying my way in to the nightclub, don't remember what I did when I was in the nightclub and don't remember getting home from the nightclub.
I do remember being sick, a lot. And I've never been sick before with alcohol even though I can get through a fair amount of drink!
Fair to say I won't be drinking while I'm still on them again and would probably be a good idea if you didn't too!

Yep, scared the absolute cr@p out of me! Anything could've happened!
I've been on mine just over 5 weeks now so still fairly new to them.
Lisa I'm sure they'll take in to consideration that it was completely ou of character even if they don't take the medication in to account. They should though as you're note supposed to mix the two so there are obviously adverse effects when you do so.

If you are taking any anti-depressants you should not drink alcohol, especially if you are new to them. Your GP should have explained that not all anti-depressants suit everbody so you may have to change quite regularly till they find one that suits you. I had one that did make me have black-outs and so GP changed them and have had to change a few times to find one that suits me.
