As a fella' I'm obviously not well-placed to answer this one, but some web-searching suggests that Pycnogenol might help.

it will pass in a day or two society no big deal x
No wonder some people refer to it as "the curse". I suffered every month, and did not stop suffering until it stopped for good. One advantage of getting old is getting rid of that pain. Not much help zzxxee, but at least you know there is someone out here sympathising with you.

thanks starbuck
my 13 year old daughter gets awful period pains bless her .
Ah, bless, poor little lass, dreading each month. I remember I went to the docs to see if I could get something a bit stronger and every time I went the dose got bigger then I looked it up in somebody's medical terms book and discovered it was a derivative of morphine. I was more afraid of the drug than the pain so stopped taking it. No wonder women can stand pain more than men! They have to.

I have had Ponstan when I was younger to help with really painful ones, on prescription though.

I was talking to my GP recently as for a while now I had had build up of pmt, pain and generally feeling horrible like when you're about to come on for up to 2 weeks before I actually do and has been driving me mental (related to my pcos maybe). GP suggested buscopan that you can buy for IBS to help with the pain.

Not really natural but might help.
Hot bath, gentle exercise eg wrap up and go for a walk, ensure bowels are moving (sorry - but it really does help), don't dwell on it, 'try to relax' which is very easily said but really helps with pain.
A herbal remedy for menstrual problems is black cohosh.
when I was younger I had a dreadful time every month and the only thing that cured me was having children............I realise that this solution is rather drastic, but it was the only thing that worked for me.

Don´t waste your money.
I know it's hard and the last thing you want to do, but I used to have a really bad time, and I found that getting up and doing a bit of exercise helped - made the flow more difficult to manage sometimes, so you just can't win... but it helped the pains.

thanks for all the tips ect, im a lot better today hate to say it i agree with sqad, the pain killers seem to have worked a treat after 24 hrs !!
i agree with the hot water bottle. I used to pop pills left right and centre and then someone said to try it and it definitely worked or like you say zz it takes the edge off the pain to make it a little more bearable.
