Chaffinch is that a Spanish brand name and are they 250mgs

oxytetracycline is def an english name, I often had these antibiotics in the past.

yes here it is oxitetraclina, just want to check it's the right one!

Oxytertacycling is the english name, but the phamacyst will know what this is. they come in various strenghts, but yes 250mg is normal for acne.

Purdie, Oxytetracycline are not antibiotics, they are the for-runner of antibiotics and are cyclines

Thanks chaffinch. didn't know that. Always had them for throat infections etc and assumed they were antibiotics. Hope by 'forerunner' you don't mean before antibiotics were discovered!

yes Purdie, they were used before antibiotics!! but in a much different form, some believe that due to the over use of Antib's that they now, yet again work better in some illnesses.

Have to say I have now googled and it is described as ' a broad spectrum antibiotic'
