Sorry if this question has been asked before, but I am asking this for a friend who is too shy to come on AB. He would like to know from you menfolk out there what is the best alternative to Viagra, and how much does it cost? I know that Viagra can cost up to £26 per 3 tablets, so first question would be what the generic name for this drug is, and would that be cheaper? He has also considered the company listed below, if any of you have any experience of this, either good or bad then can you let us know:

Thanks for any sensible replies.

How old is your friend.....and has he any underlying medical condition?

surely it will depend on what is causing the problem. Can he not see a GP, a prescription would also cost less.
Cialis.
sorry doc - you were a little premature there.....

Cialis 10mg is good. Is this spam? I don't think herbal remedies would do any good.

Just checked that website.....it doesn´t say what the pill contains and I would keep well away from it.......well away.

Doc Cialis .....it is very expensive.
-- answer removed --
Cialis is about £8 per tablet.

Before I plucked up the courage to go to my GP I bought some Horny Goat weed off the net. But I stopped using it when I found myself in my neighbour's garden at 4 in the morning eating the clothes off her washing line.
pmsl at sandy - good one!

I always like a man who can laugh me into bed..... ;-)
Without the Cialis would you be laughing with me or at me?
1 Doz Oysters might be a cheaper option !
Never at you sandy. I am not cruel like that.

Anyway, at our age, sex is too much of a chore most of the time. If I had £8, I'd rather have a nice bottle of red and a good book.
could get viagra on prescrition if a problem is diagnosed? They bascically offered it to on a plate when I was diagnosed with diabetes - even though I dont have any problems/
It takes courage to seek help for embarassing problems but safer to see your gp first... for some people it can be risky it may be a choice of st1ffy or being a st1ff
If your friend is a diabetic he can have a small quantity on prescription I believe also in cases of problems secondary to medical treatment e.g prostate cancer treatments.
No problem other than decrepitude. So I pay. And £8 every two or three months isn't a lot.
Salla, I know you'd not laugh...
