I still have a sore throat and a tickly cough, and my energy ain't great. This was not a cold-no sneezing-not the flu. Or maybe a watered down version, though I doubt that exists.
I need to bear in mind that a lot of our clients are vulnerable, and both clients and co-workers have been down with the baddie-hence coughing everywhere.

ROFL !!!!!

ya could have fooled me.. ;-))
Of course the question is a lot more involved than 'am I too sick to go to work?' Food prep and being on your feet all day has to be heavily borne in mind when making a decision. I'm on my feet all day as well, and talking to people a lot. If I was sat at a desk and shuffling papers then that is less of a challenge when you are ill.
And as for bosses? No they don't stay off when ill. So we all get it. Then you get dirty looks when you catch it and dare to suggest that you are too ill to be there!

Also I have just proven that carrying on when unwell weakens your system and you are more likely to go down with another illness. I've been ill twice this January, and carrying on initially was one of the reasons I went down like a felled tree last week!
Pasta, I'm sure you will appreciate the last comment!!!!! x
