Hello
This is about a pal of mine - female age 56, normally fit and healthy. Has had 3 episodes in the past year or 2 which involve fainting and falling like a stone, then coming round (don't know how much later as it happens at night and she's on her own) and not being able to move for 1 to 2 hours.
After this, she manages to crawl to the sofa or bed and feels dizzy, sick, lethargic and generally grotty for 1,2 or 3 days (can't eat much, feels extremely tired). The GP can't give any explanation as her BP is normal, ECG was ok too. Blood test last November showed normal blood sugars so he says it's can't be diabetes.
He's now asked for FBC and thyroid test.
Does anyone have any ideas please? TIA x

Last time, breathing was 'very puffy' and I thought he was having a stroke .. almost unconcious. White as a sheet and sick feeling. After laying down for a few hours, ok.
Doctor thinks some sort of stomach reflux.
