ow my days i've had such a nightmare at the beach today and it's resulted in me having loads of little painful splinters in my hand and feet. I've socked them them water and used disinfectant on them and manged to get a few of them out but there's still some deep inside my skin. what do you think i should do? will it do any harm to leave them in there? thankyou xx

Leave well alone and if they do come to the surface of the skin, just remove them with tweezers.
If they are painful, then a traditional remedy of sugar and solid soap mixed together works, You put a blob on the clean soaked skin and cover it with a plaster. I am not sure how it works but can vouch for the fact that it does. If they aren't troubling you though, just leave them alone, i have a piece of school desk in my calf that has been there for more than 40 years
bread poultice; bread soaked in hot water and applied to the area. It acts as a sponge and sucks out the splinter.
Perhaps try Magnesium Sulphate Paste.
Apply on a piece of lint to affected area, then cover with plaster.
