I'd put it down to being on medication for gastrits. But since I've come off it for the doctors to be able to test my blood. I feel even worse!
I feel like I'm in this bubble, can't hear or see properly, I feel very spaced out and that my mind isn't working. And I can't concentrate and get panicky if it's too loud or busy around me.
Does anyone else ever feel this way?

What medication have you been on?

I feel like this when I am in a acute anxiety state and also when I had ME years ago. I am not saying this is what is the problem with you, but I have definitely felt like this!
Hope you get sorted soon.

lansoprazole 30mg, squad.

They don't really know what's caused the gastritis as of yet, they wanted to do the blood test to see if it was H Pylori Bacteria that was causing it. I barely drink, and don't abuse NSAID medications like aspirin and Ibroprohen.

Lottie, I have past issues with anxiety, but I haven't felt bad lately, and I don't feel anxious about my condition at the moment. And when I have been badly anxious, I don't normally feel like this.

My guess.....it is the Lanzoprazole that is causing your symptoms, even though you have just stopped taking it........

I hope that the blood tests will also include Thyroid FunctionTests.

Hopefully squad! I have been off work and university for two weeks, with feeling bad from the gastritis and the mess going on in my head!
I would think they would take for a few things. Although when I did see the doctors they said that it was a classic case of gastritis.
