I have been looking all over for mens slippers in half sizes for my disabled Dad. He is size seven and a half, 7 are too small, 8 are too big. He is 91 and disabled with spina bifida and has very swollen feet which he drags due to foot drop. I have to get slippers with easy access with a wide opening front so he can get them on. A velcro fastening is needed. After sending away to places like Hotta and various other catalogues I have had to return all these slippers. I feel if I could get his proper size of seven and a half they would be ok. Does anyone know of anywhere doing half sizes? I have been to nearly all the sites on line and still no luck, thanks in advance.

However, the best solution would be to go for a soft insole, they take up half a size and are also extra warm, the high sided velcro slippers should be ideal with a sheepskin insole
Sorry, can't help. I have the same requirement and haven't seen half-sizes in the conventional outlets around for years. Obviously you don't want loose-fitting footwear as this can cause falls.
Have you considered something like moccasins which can be quite soft and flexible and might be available in half sizes?
