I have ITP and the sick kids doctor said that as a LAST resource my spleen would have to be taken out...(And I don't want that) So I was just wondering if any of you could tell me anything I could take to help my Spleen! I COULD REALLY USE THE HELP!!

theres not really anything you can take to "help" your spleen, and if there was the sick kids doctor would have recommended it to you

you don't need a spleen anyway, but if the kids doctor is sick ask one that isn't sick.

I know you can manage without a spleen but I think you need to take medication for the rest of your life, no big deal really.
