Sylvia is still on support and everyone is waiting ....... but at the moment she would still be ok if a donor became available...have sent everyones good wishes.

Thanks for the update rowan.

When he wasn't in CB on Friday I presumed he'd taken the day off to be with her during her test.
When he wasn't on yesterday I was rather concerned that something was up.

Best wishes to her Husband and to their Family as well, it must be very difficult for all of them as they must be praying a Liver Donor ios out there somewhere.
Obviously I am not privy to the Medical situation which Rowan and Squad are , but I'm sure everyone on AB wishes them well.

Have just brought myself up to date with the situation. I hadn't seen Welshyorkie's Friday posting.

It really is touch and go as time is running out (still ok for a while from what I can gather)
They seem to be coping ok at the moment,(or as well as anyone can) but I have done this wait with families when I worked in the unit myself every time the phone rings your heart is in your mouth hoping its good news and dreading the call back to the unit when it isn't and thats how you feel when you are the nurse....I can't begin to imagine how the families feel.

not long had another text....Julian has been told there is very little time before Sylvia would be too sick for the transplant. she is now first on the list for Birmingham centre and the team would plead her case for a donor organ at national/European level if one became available. Again I have told him of everyones good wishes....but things are not looking very good...
