My husband has cut his right hand ring finger across the bottom half of his finger in the middle. Every time I put plasters , a few in different directions, once he bwnds his finger it must split again and pors with blood through the plasters. Should I bandage it instead of keep putitng on plasters.?

... is it bad enough to need stitching?

Use plasters and bind the little finger and middle finger together extended.
By the morning it should be fine.
I suspect not. Superglue certainly used to be used to seal wounds. When camping in the middle of nowhere, I have used this myself as a remedy. (Albeit, I didn't actually have superglue, I had nail glue which is almost the same and it was used to seal quite a nasty wound).

Ny husband said about superglue but I am not keen. all the surrounding skin is really sore. He will hardly let me touch it. The cut is very wide when the finger is bent. it is deeper than an ordinary cut. But says he dosn"t want to go to hospital

Many thanks for your answers. Sqad I will do what you said and bind fingers together.
If it is that deep and wide, I would suggest that you do what Sqad says and see how it is tomorrow. If it is deep and wide, superglue will probably not help all that much. If by tomorrow it is still bleeding, perhaps he needs a stitch.

Drypine - it is not idiotic to use superglue - it was actually used on the battlefields. As I said, i have done it myself to knit a wound together.

Apparently super glue was used in Vietnam to bind wounds.

Well if it was used then I'd guess it was...
Yep. saw it, doesn't change the fact that I have used it myself.

Can't you just tell him not to bend it?

Perhaps splint the finger to stop him bending it.
