Is your girlfriend sleeping with another girl as bad as sleeping with another man?

I have always thought that if I had a girlfriend who slept with another man then that would be it, i could never forgive her. But if she slept with another woman then I don't consider it as much a betrayal because it's a woman and not a man and I could get over it, don't know why but that's how I would feel. Does anyone think the same?

i feel that is is only cheating if you werent aware of what is going on...............if she is sleeping with a woman but is truthful to you, then she has told you the truth and given you the choice to either accept it or walk away.

To me, cheating is when a husband/wife sleeps with another person ( of either sex) and keeps it secret, thus taking away ones ability to chose to live with it or to look for someone else who doesnt do it............

Its the dishonesty that is the killer not the sex ??? surely ???

I think because it's a woman and not another man then anything to do with male pride is not an issue. In other words she is not doing it because of any sexual preference of another male over yourself. It is a totally different kind of betrayal.

I know someone whose husband left her - for another man. They still have a remarkably good relationship because she says, if it had been another woman, she would have gone through the whole - was she prettier than me, is she skinnier than me thing, whereas when it's a man, there is no competition, she simply couldn't provide what this other guy does.
