Those little medicated spot patches that you wear overnight are really good. They dry it out much more quickly.

i'd leave it - or put toothpaste on it overnight to make it dry out as much as poss.  If it doesn't improve you can always put moisturiser on it before you put your make up on. Boots No7 do a fairly good pan stick which isn't too heavy.

Annoying isn't it!  Good luck - and have a fab time - alternatively just wear a very low cut top - noone will look at the spot ;o)

it is sooooo annoying cos putting makeup on it is making is look worse and everytime I smile it cracks - owww!

At the mo I am trying wishing it away - not the medical solution but hopin it will pay off!

Try aftershave or any other alcohol based product .It will dry it up then you can pick it off.
dry it out up to the night out and then on the night your going out have a hot bath or shower and then use a non greasy moisturiser.......

don't try to dry it out unless there is a head on it.  If there is then I recommend toothpaste, it's really good. If it's just a dry bumpy kind of spot use moisturiser to soften it then you'll be able to cover it up more easily.  you could try using Germolene Antiseptic Ointment at night. This stuff has saved me a few times.

yeah definitely moisturise - it is the scabby bits that make a spot even more obvious when you put concealer on it. A big shiny red one you can almost cover up but the dried out ones look bad. moisturised skin will heal quicker too, if you dry it out you may be left with a little mark for a few weeks.
try using tea tree oil.
Tea tree is good - usually makes my spots go down by the next day.
