pregnant on the pill AND negative results!!?
4 Answers
Now this may sound like an obvious question/answer but how likely is it that I could get pregnant whilst taking the pill AND have 3 negative test results??
I've been taking cerazette for a few months. I've not had a period whilst on them (but this is a possible side-effect). I have never missed a dose and take them pretty much at the same time every day but recently I've had some pregnancy-like symptoms - no period, crampy feeling in stomach, feeling queasy, aching back and feeling very emotional. I took two tests a couple of weeks ago when I first started worrying about my lack of periods and they were both negative. I then took another test a couple of days ago and this was negative too.
Do you reckon I should just presume that 3 test results must be right? I know it's possible to have false-results and I know it's possible to get pregnant on the pill but it must be very very unlikely for both things to happen at once? I hate to go to my doctor because i saw so much of her during and after my last pregnancy that I think she may worry I'm a bit of a hypochondriac so I don't want to turn up with a silly question like this unless I really have to! Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks x
