Ideas please

I want to do something nice for OH on Friday. He always complains that I'm not romantic enough/affectionate towards him (I've never been one to be overly affectionate etc). But as I'm going away for a week on Saturday I want to do something for him, any ideas would be greatly appreciated xx

The trad thing would be to cook him a nice meal, candlelight, etc.... followed by whatever you fancy, just the two of you, no interruptions, switch your phone off...

When my OH and I want to treat ourselves, I cook a quick starter of prawns cooked in garlic. A slice of baguette fried in the garlic butter and layer the prawns on it. Followed by a nice fillet steak with mushrooms, onion rings & tomatoes. It's not too filling but it's enjoyable & quick to cook so he can chat to you while you do it or he doesnt have to wait long. Have a nice time - Oh of course, it goes without saying all of the above gets washed down with a very nice vino.....!

Lol, so the majority vote is bu99er the food, jump straight to the fun hehe ;). I have just booked us tickets to see the sound of music in cardiff millenium centre, we both love musicals, it's not for a few weeks, but will make the most of it when it comes around :D thanks for the advice for tomorrow (well later on today now) hehe xxx
