Is there a dating site for would-be Dinkies (Double Income, No Kiddies)?

We all know that there are loads of dating agencies out there on the Internet but are there any for those who feel that "2 is company but 3 is a crowd". In case you had not picked up on this I have no wish to father any children. I am sick and tired of people telling me how selfish I am in this and would like some more constructive advice. I know that this is a site for Dating for Parents but do not know if there is one for couples who have decided that they never want children. At the moment I am just a single who does not want (and can not have) children.

Can any of you help with this and thanks as usual for your ever speedy and helpful replies?

Also look at your local papers - at least they are in the same geographical part of the country.......

I have not been on Dating for Parents; I was just using it as an example of what I wanted the opposite of. I do not use the aforementioned plus points about me as chat-up lines. I was using them in my defence before someone accused me of being the world's most selfish person, which I am most certainly not.

No you're not JB. Those of us who thought we wanted children but it didn't happen, feel the same now. Love my catz to bits, love my other half - there is nothing lacking in my life in that direction.

you're not selfish. most dating sites have a basic ticklist with Want Children? on it.. just say no!

there will be plenty of women happy with that.

It would be selfish to go into a relationship knowing that you don't want or can't have kids and failing to mention this to your intended partner.

It is selfish to have kids that you don't really want - kids need parents that are willing to put the kids first.

You are being honest - which is always a good start in any potential relationship.

I certainly don't think someone is selfish for not wanting children quite the opposite. There are a lot of people who have had children and can't be bothered to give them the love or attention they deserve - now they are selfish. On any dating websites could you not stipulate that you are wanting to meet someone who does not have or want children, there are plenty people like that out there?

Neither my sister nor her husband ever wanted children, and they've been happily married for 44 years.

Selfish for not wanting kids ? Surely you jest ? On the contrary. Both the world, and this country is overpopulated. If a couple has more than 2 offspring they are part of the problem. If they have exact 2 they are still not part of the solution. The thoughtful ones have just the one, and the really selfless ones forgo continuing their family tree altogether, thus helping compensate for some of those causing the problem.

well, if I had a little more technical knowhow and a better awareness of the industry, I'd maybe look into fixing that! Sounds like there's a genuine gap!

Thank you Old Geezer for your helpful and supportive answer. I forget to mention that I am doing this for the good of my nation and my fellow man. As I said I also give blood and will be donating my organs after death so if anything I am selfless, not selfish.
