phoned police this morning as son lost it and put holes in 2 (new) doors, and i was scared he would turn on me. they came, took statement, and i didnt press charges as his gf is pregnant and as long as he never came back,i was ok. end? so i thought, but no, the 2 cop bosses said it wasn't enough, so son has been in cell since 3ish.
What has made me sit here and really sob uncontrollably the last hour is that wpc phoned and said she is phoning my housing association and telling them about damage.
He should not have been staying here,so i will be homeless as i have breached my tenancy agreement. YES i do know I have brought it on myself,take that as read, thanks. I want advise please, do i press charges after all? do i tell H.A myself? will they really kick me out? what timescale? TIA, and upset enough-no sarcasm please-as said i know its my fault...

I do not think there is an account that has no card at all , how would you identify yourself ?
The bank should not worry about you haveing too many replacement cards .My wife has an account at LLoydsTSB that only lets you get cash out of a cashpoint with the card , the card does not let you buy stuff with it. But this is a very old account and I do not think they do them for new customers now. I have a Barclays Cash Card account it can not go overdrawn but you can use it in shops and online.

barclays currant, don't know what will get, was thinking of asking bank tm to transfer half of esa benefit and use that account for food,and one dd, leaving currant one cardless

You want what the banks call a 'basic' account , some current (not currant thats dried fruit ! LOL) accounts have a monthly charge , you want one that is free of any charges, As I said I use a Barclays Cash Card account it is a debit card but you can only use what is in the account it will not let you go overdrawn.

Thanks Eddie, cash card is what I shall ask for. I was told new card on way, but that happened last time.

The police have NO right to call your HA. Its absolutely none of their business. And its your word against theirs that your son was even staying with you. Just say he was visiting for the night if it comes to it. They wont evict you for that, dont worry.
