I wondered if you'd indulge this call for content:

For those of you have received our newsletter, you'll know it featured a very entertaining looking dog.

Turns out this was the second most popular story in the whole newsletter!

We think it was the dog wot dun it.

So I wondered if anyone would be willing to submit their funny pooch pics and cat snaps to us, for future use in newsletters and across the site.

We could run it in the form of a competition monthly or quarterly (maybe the winner gets a cake, or a dead mouse to play with?)

OR we could just start monthly thread where we post pictures of our own furry friends, for the fun of it.

I'd just like to gauge interest for now, although, if you're happy for us to use your pictures please feel free to send them to us! You never know, your pup or puss might take this cool cat's crown:

Frankie de Tom cat is good natured - short haired and black and white face
Princess Merlin (aka Slasher) is his sister and is beautiful, black face and long haired. Vet described her as 'vague', 'vacant' and two sandwiches short of a picnic.
