had a beauty treatment and what did you think of the experience ??
Ive just got back from using up birthday vouchers from Feb for a full facial experience and scalp massage and I feel on top of the world. It was absolute heaven and the aromatice aromas throughout the experience are still lingering. Only one problem is Ive loads of oils still in my hair from the scalp massage and it looks like Ive not washed my hair for weeks but have been advised to leave them on and a free sample to put on Thurs night before I wash my hair on Friday for my neices wedding on Sat. I shall have to put my bandana on when I go out shopping this afternoon. I have been there before as a present, but this time was even better. I would fully recommend it to anyone as a treat, which I think everyone needs now and again

Never really bothered. Why mess with perfection ;-))

I go for a full massage on a regular basis, it can't be beaten to take away the stress.
Never felt the need for one!
Dunno if you'd consider it a beauty treatment as such but I go to Turkish baths a lot and some of them offer things like shaves, facials etc. I like it.
Nah, I don't do 'pampered'. Still got half a bottle of Nivea facial scrub that was part of a Crimbo prez from roughly 6 years ago!

LOL Philtaz, Im the same. Ive loads of beauty products bought over the years as presents and remaining unopened or given away to tombolas. Im not one for pampering myself but when someone else is doing it for you, its fantastic
Plus, instead of being the dedictaed professionals were purported to be I've lost count of the amount of times one of us(the lads) has chuckled in the works rest room whenever one of our female colleagues is thumbing through a beauty mag and mentions the word 'facial'.

Peurile and schoolboy-like I know, but that's how we are.
I got bought a spa day tratment and absolutely loved it. Would never treat myself as such but as a gift then great!
I am not crazy about being touched by strangers...any kind of massage would really freak me out.
I always have a few pampering sessions when I go on cruises............it's part of the holiday.
My typing is getting worse, that should be 'dedicated'.
Wish sometimes AB had a spellchecker!

Agree with woofgang. Can't stand massages even though I recommend them to others and the practitioners as I know they are good for release of muscle tension and stress.. Not one for being pampered, husband bought me a face massage/eyebrow shaping for Christmas. Couldn't wait for it to end! Didn't look a lot different either and skin felt horrid and tight!

Well of course Graham. LOL. have you looked in the mirror
lately ?
Love massage and facials.
Phil. I do a mean massage. I could change your mind. ;-)
Had a haircut today...£2.80 pensioners special...and my ears syringed yesterday...oh! and I shower and shave every morning ....apart from the occasional nose and ear trims that's about it....sometimes I rub a bit of the OH's stuff on....not sure what it does :-)
Offer accepted gness! My thigh is still causing me some discomfort since my op, a gentle massage with some pain relieving gel would be most welcome.
I had an Elemis facial last month (won in a raffle). My face didnt look any different afterwards and I was bored witless by the beautician prattling on about nothing
Nothing, other than my chiropractor.

Big Sis once was given vouchers for an aroma therapy session. Surprisingly (to me) she went. The therapist decided that geranium and rosemary would do the trick for her.

Big Sis came home feeling rejuvenated and said she was undecided whether to stand in a flower pot or jump into the oven ;)
Ive often had facials, and pedicures/manicures, I get my nails done regularly and the odd body massage now and then - its my treat to myself so why not. I really enjoy it but only wish I could afford it every day !
I had a massage (first ever) a few weeks ago and gotta say, I couldn't wait for it to finish so I could get back to doing summat useful.

I guess the pampering malarkey's just not for me.
