Are there any good films coming onto TV/Satellite over the next week or two? We have Sky+ but we do not get the movies package. The thing is a lot of times a good film is on some of the other channels like Sony TV or Watch TV but it is hard to notice because there are so many channels.

Most times I see that a good film is on, only by chance. So if anyone can give me a heads up on any coming over the next while that would be great and I can set them up to record.

Thanks.

There's a film on C5 @4.15pm called Surf's Up, but I don't know what age group it's for.
I always check Sundays schedules. Channel 5 always have about 3 movies on during the afternoon/early evening, and sometimes Ch4 too. There is usually always something the kids want recorded.

Forgot to say which day it was on. Think it was Sat or Sun.

Unfortunately we cannot record ITV or Channel 5 because I'm from Ireland. We can watch, but not Sky+ those channels. However I'll keep an eye out thanks. I recorded Flight of the Navigator on ScyFy a few weeks back. Haven't seen it since I was a child myself and it was still great to watch it with my 8 year old.

Any other suggestions appreciated.

Again, unfortunately we can't record Channel 5. RTE2 are showing a Disney film each day around 12.30 so I've started to record them, but they can be a bit hit and miss. There was one called Monkey's Uncle the other day which was actually okay, but then there was one called Treasure of Matueme or something which didn't look great.

Seriously, someone should collate this sort of thing because on Sky when you go to movies on the guilde it only shows movies from the movies channels but not BBC, E4, scyfy, Watch etc.
Check out The Goonies on 12th August at 5.50 on Channel 5. Mid-eighties classic written by Spielberg. It says the certificate is 12 now but was probably a PG when it was released as the 12 certificate didn't exist then.
