Is going celibate right?

I recently decided to go celibate until I find the right the guy. I'll admit I've slept with a few too many guys but I was only chasing love and affection and thought I could only get that through sex. I realised what I was doing to myself and that it was very un healthly I come from an emotional abusive household which affected the relationships I've had. I finally realised what I was doing to myself having sex with these guy made me feel wanted I eventually got counselling which made me realise why I did it and that what I did wasn't my fault I didn't know any better I had no idea about relationships . I had to learn a lesson the hard way which as made me a lot wiser. I decided to go celibate recently I want sex to feel much more special and bonding with someone but I don't know if its the right thing to do.

From a mans point of view this statement really, really does my nut in!
The amount of times I have been with a girl and she has killed the tension because she appears to be not interested. Only for afterwards to tell me she was waiting till it was right!? if its right, it's right! no arbitrary amount of time will make it more right! All it succeeded in doing was making me think she was playing games with me, and I cannot be bothered with that so I have told them where to go!

Good on you Angel - it can onyl do you good if your previous experiences are negative, although be up front about it with the guy. If he bolts then he's a loser anyway.

I've been celibate for ages..not by choice though..lol..Seriously though Ms, I think you would feel a lot better about yourself if you abstained until you were in a loving relationship
