My husband has a login, but he doesn't use AB to my knowledge. He knows what sites I use but not my profile name etc.

if I wanted to ask a personal question about my OH, I wouldn't be able to if my Oh was on here and they knew who I was. That would be a bit awkward.

Anto - not a good idea to be on with partners etc - as we all (well I do ) like the anonymity of people not knowing who I am - join on your own.

Yes Connemmara, no one else in my "real" life knows who I am on here. Just saying, if my partner or friend knew I was on here I wouldn't be able to confide and talk about personal stuff to people on here.

Well good luck with the site - it is a brilliant site for extremely helpful info but as you can see I may "call it a day" for different reasons - you are too new at the moment to know. But you will get fantastic info. No - keep your anonymity.

I have got lots of good advice on here. We all "call it a day" eventually, no matter where we are, we all get tired of a place and move on.

That's why it's good to be anonymous on here, you can tell people why you are hurting without anyone in "real" life know who you are.

My partner is a member. He doesn't post much but he reads quite a lot of what is posted.

Not a partner no, but my Dad was a memeber and I find that since he left it's very much easier for me to take part as i'm not minding what i'm saying nearly so much, ( although I know he still snoops about because that's his nature ;-)

My sister and a good friend post on here, but we dont communicate, we keep it quiet. Come to think of it, there are 4 people on here who know me personally, but no problem for us. Their all good folks.
