I'm rather perturbed, reading the goings on I can see on a Facebook page of a family member.
The person believes they have closed their page down to prying eyes...they have, except for "Groups" they chat on.
I know people can pretend to be anything they want on the web, and engage in all sorts of shaninikins..via web cams etc!!
Without going into more detail, I am quite worried for the other half of the long term marriage.
I'd like to make the person aware I have seen the page but am not sure its the right thing to do.
Any opinions would be welcome.

As to the offending half... well, I once found a colleague sending highly libellous emails via the office system unaware they could be read by anyone who knew about the folder that contained copies of absolutely everything. I told him of its existence, without specifically mentioning his emails, and he went rather pale... but boy, was he grateful.
If you think your family member doesn't know their posts can be seen by others, and should know, perhaps you could try the same thing. Don't sound judgemental or mention your worries, just say "did you know..."
Then never mention it again.

The other half doesn't use the internet at home. She has to use it all day at work and switches off when shes at home.
The offending person is making a right pratt of himself. Its getting way too serious now I am thinking he is preparing to up sticks to go "abroad" without a kiss my ar*e of goodbye leaving the wife in debt.

Thanks baby_sham. Its even closer than that!
I have spoken up and not heard back..I didn't expect to. I soo so hate seeing someone I care about very much being treat so badly.
That person, to my knowledge isn't aware just yet and I won't be telling, but the s*it will hit the fan any time now.
My own flesh and blood is behaving very badly indeed. I know many will disagree with me there is a lot I can't and wouldn't post on a forum.
Thanks for your comments. It's good to be able to talk.
