I have organised personal trainer sessions for her as a Christmas present because she has started the gym but finding motivation an issue.
Will she appreciate the gift or take offence do you think?
Jd...humour rarely goes wrong......Put the voucher inside a gift wrapped frying pan with a little note saying.....this is to hit me with if I have boobed with the gift...☺
Thanks Tilly!
I think you can see my intention here, its a dodgy topic, I know it is a gamble. She has wanted Ugg Boots for ages and has settled for "knock off's" in the past, I know I have brownie points coming for them.
hmmm. I think if she really WANTED to "get fit, toned, sexy" the motivation would be there and she would be going. Could it be that she wants reassurance from you that she doesn't NEED the gym to be everything and more that you have ever dreamed of in a life partner?
Seriously, whether or not you intend it as any kind of comment on her, can you see that by buying her the sessions, you are actually making a comment and one that might be hurtful?
jd, it is more a case of knowing my own wife.. who can walk around clothes and shoe shops for miles but a suggestion of any other 'unnecessary' exercise is heavily frowned upon.

Thank you Jd...hope it works..If MrG had added something funny to the vacuum cleaner he once bought me he wouldn't have had to spend Christmas day extracting the hose from where it wasn't meant to go...x
