Apparently he got in with a backdoor key? He slipped up though as I got a message about an impending dentist appointment he had, so was able to identify him. My question is, would a full system restore get him out as I only have free AVG and cant afford anything fancy? Thank you.

Run Malwarebyts - see my post here http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Technology/Computers/Question1339006.html Once you've done that, change your wireless password and any website passwords. Make sure that you have a Firewall - Windows has one, but other free ones are available.
