Weird Question - Can You Show Signs Of Breast Milk After Having Had Sex Only 2 Weeks Ago?
37 Answers
i know it sounds daft but bear with me - weird situation
for the first time me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex, twice - he pulled out.
this was 2 weeks ago - and today there is leakage out of my boobs!
Its white and runny. theres only a little bit.
I have done a pregnancy test but it was negative.
i feel now a bit like i am due on soon - so chances are i was ovulating at the time.
I have PCOS so periods are pretty irregular and i am pretty sure i would need IVF to get pregnant - my hormones are obviously a bit of a mess too.
I am aware actual milk is not produced until after birth, but the pre-liquid can start sooner apparently and even very unusually at the start, right?
i've looked online at various types of discharge - but most seem to be different colours and texture - as i say this is white and runny.
im wondering if the i could be pregnant? and its just too early for the test to show?
or has the pcos and hormones etc just gone nuts and caused this strange symptom...?
its in both breasts so not cancer or an infection = there is no soreness or other symptoms i can see etc.
i know it sounds daft - but what can this be?
its never happened before - to my knowledge - but had i not lightly squeezed a bit, it probably would not have come out, at least i would not have noticed it
we are not trying to get pregnant and i dont particularly want to be either
any ideas?
thanks

'Stimulation. Nipples may secrete fluid when they are stimulated or squeezed. Normal nipple discharge may also occur when your nipples are repeatedly chafed by your bra or during vigorous physical exercise, such as jogging.'

thanks shoota, i'll check that link
but i barely touched it, it was a momentary squeeze - it wasn't like i was sitting there squeezing away on them or anything.
i initially though it must be something on my finger, wiped onto it - but i couldn't think what, so then checked properly
i also dont jog and rarely wear a bra if i can help it.

Pixie I will have to disagree with you on colostrum -four pregnancies four breas tfeedings -the liquid that leaks out before the birth is not colostrum its called fore milk. colostrum on left of pic after milk on right of picture.

Pixie I really don't know what you are getting at? The OP has a discharge which I don't think is milk. I have no idea what it is, but you suggested that colostrum was a 'clear liquid' -it is not a clear liquid it is thick and yellow(google it) . I corrected you, sorry if this offends but you were incorrect in your description of colostrum. Like I said I have no idea what the OP's discharge is but my personal opinion would be its not 'milk'.

Eccles what can I say - I answer a question in a serious manner and this is what I get in return . This is Body and Soul not chatterbank. The Op was given the wrong information which could have resulted in her thinking she was producing 'colostrum'. I corrected that and posted a picture to help the OP undersand. Yours and Canary's responses are both childish, unnecessary and inappropriate.
