Advise On Meeting A B/f

I am a mature lady (52) and have been single for over a year and now feel ready to meet someone else. I don't feel comfortable joining a dating site. I do go out, however as my friends are all either married or in relationships we only tend to go for a meal or to a show, so unlikely to meet anyone. I am a professional working, solvent lady, told I am attractive so where does one meet a nice man?

I met only long lasting boyfriends at work, at a garage buying spare parts, and during course of following a hobby. Some people go to evening classes where there are likely to be men - so you will already have an interest in common.
