Is It Worse To Just Play Old Video Games?

I have tried playing all video games but video games that isn't made between 1982 and 1997 isn't as good as those that is. If i would't play old video games i would't be playing video games. It's the how more recent video games look, play and that they is overwhelming that makes me not want to play them. I also just play 2D video games becuase i am comfortable with being kept to one angle screen and 3D games is too realistic. I want to think that poeple have made video games as good after those i played but every time i play a game i can find i think that's doing something else is better. Beucase i very rarely play video games i didn't know about before i very often know some things about the game when i play it. Becuase i just play old video games i have less video games to choose and thus play the same games again more. I mainly play nes games, genesis games and snes games. I'm not interested in old thing other then video games. Why doesn't poeple make video games as good now? Can you tell me about a more recent video game that's more similiar to old video games. Answer the first question and answer the others if you want to.

Can’t answer for video games, but I only listen to old music and mainly watch old films, old TV programs, old musicals and read old books. Sometimes modern things don’t appeal in the same way. Luckily there are just enough new TV programs and books that are enjoyable, to keep things interesting for me. I hope someone can suggest a few newer video games that you will enjoy.

Since video gaming is for entertainment and relaxation, you should play any and all games that entertain and relax you.

Since I don;t have the gaming gene, I'm far too old (!) I can't speak from experience, but entertainment and relaxation is something we all need, so seek out what you like, and stick with that, and ignore everything else.

I played loads of games in the early 90s on my Sega Mega Drive, Gameboy and in the early 00s on my DS. My son has an XBOX and I recently got a DS Switch but we rarely use them.

Change isn't easy for some and I don't know if there are any new games that are similar to the old ones. Maybe try a different hobby.

Of course you mustn't stop, Retro is cool, I also only like playing the old stuff, most of which has been digitally remastered to play on the latest consoles. For me nothing beats
Spyro, Ratchet & Clank, Crash Bandicoot, Mario, Donkey Kong and loads of other platformers. They don't make them like that anymore because as with everything the target audience moves on and tastes change, superb graphics and often online interaction are what's the fashion now. Plus a lot of games are aimed at much younger kids now too, the demographic has expanded hugely.
They don't make Rogers & Hammerstein type musicals anymore either but it doesn't mean you can't watch them with joy if you're into that kind of film.
