Scam Text Just Received

I've just received a text notification from "Barclays" saying that Samsung S10 device has just been paired with my internet / mobile banking and if it's not me, click the link.

I do bank with Barclays and I do have a Samsung but I have not used it in recent times to log in to my internet banking.

The number seems to be from a dodgy one from India. Please be on your guard.

i just received a call on my mobile from Her Majesty customs, revenue, or whatever, i hung up the phone.

I get those all the time. They're a pain.

thats the first on the mobile, but will watch out for your one, as i am with Barclays, and have a samsung phone.

I got two within an hour on my landline telling me my Apple iPhone 7 ( I have the 11 ) has been dispatched and £399 has been taken from my card !

I have about 20 parcels awaiting redelivery from Royal Mail if I "just pay 3.99 on the following link"

the best way if you are in two minds is to ring the firm on one of their 'safe numbers'
and nevva click on a link

had an hour or two of this with RBS this am with this
using only the number on my bank statement
and by golly dont they make you wait !
