I've been on and off dating this guy for 2 years and on and off talking to him or others now I'm trying to get make an effort and get serious with him as he said he was always asking me out so now I'm trying to make an effort. Last week I asked did he want to go out he said yes come Saturday I message him on Facebook and he didn't read my message so I went out withy friend then late afternoon messaged me to say he been working on his van I said would have met after and if he don't want to it fine and he put thumbs up on the message
You should never have to make an extra effort to make things work. When things are right between 2 people it just naturally happens because it is mutual. This might not be 'the one' ...he might just be a guy You really liked. You should carry on meeting lots of new people until you feel a better connection.
Buenchico has given one piece of advice several times and I'll repeat that advice... speak to him face to face or on the phone and discuss things , dont rely on facebook messages etc which may not be seen or may be ignored or give them a get out and they give the impression your not that bothered
Too much social media for conversing. Speak in person, it's too easy to miss a message and to make plans on Facebook is ludicrous. Do you constantly check your Facebook.
Your means of communication sound a mite flaky - reminds me of an occasion I was involved in at work many years ago, at about 10 am a guy was asked to get half a dozen managers together for an urgent meeting at noon, so he sent them all an e-mail.
