no. Just go straight from work if you not got time to go home to get changed
No. You’re new there and still on probation. If you want to make a good impression do the job you’re paid to do - and do it to the best of your ability. Your social life has to fit around your working life - not the other way around.
No, no, a thousand times no!

You always seem to be posting about changing your working days or working hours. If you're going to a family funeral or, say, you've been invited to a Royal Garden Party (i.e. a 'once in a lifetime' experience), that's fine. Otherwise no employer is going to see you as being properly committed to your work and you probably won't last long in your job.
Will it take you that long to decide what to wear?
No, your work must come first, would it really matter if you were a few minutes late for the lunch?

As it brunch think it jus 15 mins at most
I'd say no, Abbey. As a probationer, it wouldn't be the wise thing to do. Work is your priority right now.
Abbey, just don’t.
Finishing at 2 you have plenty of time to change and get to the brunch. In another post you said you are being evaluated soon. To ask to leave early is not a good idea
No, no, a thousand times no.

If you were a boss, what would you think of a new employee who was wanting to scoot off early within days of starting the new job ?
From your other thread, "I'm seeing the boss this week for a meeting as my trial is nearly over I'm worried it might be to replace me."

If you're worried about being replaced, asking to leave work early for no good reason, is hardly going to help your case is it?

You said folk have been off sick so yous have been short-staffed. If your boss is swithering, asking to leave early might make the decision a lot easier.
Absolutely not. (Well, you asked.) That gives 2 whole hours to get ready for this Brunch. OK there is travelling, but half an hour max. to get ready should mean that you can make it. If you don't make it on time to the brunch then - so what? It is a social occasion.
Work comes first. Social comes second.
You probably don't believe me Abbey, but I really am trying to help you by telling you the truth.
no
How can brunch be at 4pm?
Brunch is eaten between and instead of breakfast and lunch.

No, don't ask to leave work early
^covered on the what shall I wear ' thread Barry... its like an all day breakfast but it's a bottomless allday brunch....not sure what's eaten though to make it brunch not brekky.
Thanks, bob.
Why is an all day breakfast not a mixed grill or fry up? It doesn't come with cornflakes or porridge
How did it go abbey? Was it good? Did you leave work early??
