I was printing off some photos today on my Epson P50 printer and I noticed some of the colours on the photos where not right.

I then carried out a Nozzle and Head   check on the P50  and it prompted me to replace 3 cartridges which I did but there was no difference in the faulty photo colours.

I then removed all 6 cartridges and put them back into the P50.

A message  appeared - Printer Busy...Please Wait.

That was over an hour ago  and this message is still showing plus the on/off green light on the P50 power button is constantly blinking.

Any tips to what I should do ?

Thanks

Pull the mains power plug, and wait at least 10 seconds before reconnecting the mains supply.

Hi H....thanks for tip but I found out what the fault was.

When I fitted one of the replacement cartridges, I forgot to remove the piece of tape which covers the  brass contacts on the cartridge.

Once I removed this piece of tape and re-installed the cartridge, the printer  worked perfectly.

Thanks for your input...J/BOY
