Anyone Here Used Stinky Stuff On Their Dog?
A friend has recommended it saying it will stop my dog from scratching himself all the time but I think he'll just lick it off again.
I've tried to find out if it's OK for a dog with Pancreatitis but no luck there either.
Anyone any idea? Thanks.

Our dog kept scratching herself, then found some crusty patches on her skin, after months of trying alsorts of ideas from the vet we finally tracked it down to the dog biscuits she was on. Now she's on grain free which seems to have done the trick, it was all trial and error as none of the tests showed what the allergy was. But she's also on 'Apoquel' for life, which is around £1 per day.
I'd rather try to find out why the dog is scratching in the first place. (My friend had a similar problem with here English Setter. After many thousands of pounds of expenditure at a specialist treatment centre, with not all of it covered by insurance, she was advised to get rid of all the carpets in her flat. Expensive - but it worked!).
You might find it worth reading the Amazon reviews for the product though. (Most seem to be very positive):

Thank you all. Not silly N, the obvious question, yes. My friends and I have tried to think of anything new and there just isn't. At his monthly visit to the vet for his Librela injection she just shrugged her shoulders and said it's the summer itch, it'll go when the weather gets cooler. He's never had it before this year and it's been going on for a couple of months. Not a mark on his skin and he eats only Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Low Fat dry food with an occasional boiled in water chicken breast, all good for a Pancreatic mutt. Oh and we don't do fleas here thank you very much. He sleeps on my bed with me on white sheets and fleas or flee dirt would be easily seen. I have had 7 Rescues in my life and never had this problem before.
Netherfield I might ask the vet about Apoquel.
