"settle the train drivers' dispute" - by giving them a massive rise and ensuring other workers in the industry ask for the same. And still most passenger services only run on Sundays if the train drivers feel like a spot of overime (which fewer and fewer of them do as they now earn around £70k pa for a four day week).

Don't know what all the fuss was about. Settling industrial disputes is easy.
