What does he want?
I have just got in touch with an old 'fling' (I'll call him B). We met four years ago when I had broken up with my long term boyfriend but it never quite worked out as I still loved my boyf and ended up getting back with him. I really liked B though but the timing was just wrong.
I have been in touch with B, mainly through the occasional text msg, over the last couple of years but we were never single at the same time so nothing ever happened.
About six months ago I invited him out for a drink, which he agreed to, but then he kept putting it off and in the end I told him not to bother.
I text him the other day and he has invited me over to see him tomorrow. He said he is single. I know he has not invited me over for sex (we never actually slept together the first time round as I always felt I was betraying my ex, even though we'd split up).
Do you think he just sees us as friends or could he want something more? I've always felt that, of all my ex's, he was the one I really regretted letting go. Would a man bother to invite a girl to his flat if he didn't want something more than friends?
I know you don't know him or me, and your probably bored now anyway(!), but just wondering what people think. Thanks.
