I was chatting to a mate about going to the hairdressers the other day and I said how much I hate it. Reasons being is they just never stop asking questions, and it does my head in. She said she loves em asking her stuff and when I asked her why cos shes lazy and never does owt she said she lied lol She says when she gets asked where shes going on holiday she makes up a fantastic one she has just booked. When they ask has she got a fella she makes up an amazing guy shes just met etc. I was laughing my head off and wondered if anyone on here does it too?

I just leave them to enjoy the peace and quiet. I don't care if they lie to me, it passes the time cause i don't really give a toss where they're going on their hols anyway! so pixi, you going anywhere nice on your holidays this year?????
I hate going to the hairdressers .A friend of mine who worked for Glenby used to cut my hair in her front room for years. Now we have moved away I am at a loss and have toured every hairdresser in town ! I clam up as soon as I walk through the door....they don"t get much conversation out of me at all !!
I couldn"t do it pixi ....I just couldn"t....!! Plus they don"t hand out free chocolate !!

I have used the same salon for 17 years! I love going there. They make me endless cups of tea and we have a damn good laugh chatting about all sorts of things and putting the world to rights. It looks a very classy rather snobby salon to those who don't realise just how lovely and helpful the girls and boys all are. They make me feel young again and give me nice young hairstyles and colour. It's a real tonic.
