Ok, this is a long shot but hope someone can help. I remember about 6-8 years ago a 9 o'clock british drama on BBC2 about a group of strong women characters all single I think, can't remember if they were friends or if their stories just intertwined.
1 character was a strong successful business woman who had a poor home/personal life. She lived in a trendy block of flats with a security guard who she secretly had a relationship with.
That's about alI can remember, but I'd love to know what it was so I can hunt it down.

Thanks to all of you, it is indeed Real Women & what a memory jog the IMDB link was! I think I might hunt down a copy.
Don't remember pauline Quirke + Michelle Collins being in it, it was Frances Barber & Lesley Manville that I remember the most. Excellent series.
