how do you maintain a long distance relationship? lets get this straight there's no way of either part looking else where but we're both finding it hard to be apart from each other (we see each other every 2 weeks). my girlfriend is having it harder than i am... how do i let her know we're going to be fine?

You can have your usual calls etc but arrange a time when you'll both be online and use MSN or Skype to stay in touch with webcams. That way you don't feel like you haven't sen each other. You can always zoom in on the parts you miss the most!!
(Personally, as a commitment-phobic girl, seeing a guy fortnightly sounds fab!)

I have been going out with my GF for 2 Years and im english but live in spain, i see her once a month sometime more or sometimes less...........providing u keep intouch via email, phone but Video chats and webcam is the best idea I have a video call with my GF every day or so and we are going on strong
We used to see each other ever 5-6 weeks so she should count herself lucky!! Webcam is the most fabulous invention for people in long distace relationships. We also used to do things like watch a film on the telly together (but obviously not together) and text the comments you would normally make throughout the film, maybe thats really sad but if felt nice at the time :) x
I'm in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend and we have been together for 18 months so far. We are really happy and see each other on average every 1-2 weeks. I'm learning to drive so that I can go and see him more often and he drives down here to see me. I get the train up there every 3 weeks when it's my weekend off work. We speak on the phone almost every night if one of us isn't out. There has to be some element of trust there too.
Same situation, my boy is away at uni and like u he finds it a lot easier to cope with than i do. we see each other about once every 2 weeks.
My advice to u is to make sure u call and say goodnite, little unexpected things aswell like actually writting a letter and posting it (not an email) between visits. just be extra sensitive to the fact that she's missin u and let her no that your missing her aswell.. thats important!
My advice to your girlfriend is to try and focus her time on something else. At the moment i'm pretty much doing 6 day weeks at work, and i joined the gym. So not am i only so knackered that even if i was with my boy i'd be too tired to notice lol but by spending loads of time in the gym i'll look fantastic when i next see him ha ha ha.
hope this helps..and if ur too scared to tell her that she should find something else to worry about, just show her this reply... coming from another girl might be easier lol.
