Im so fed up

Theres me and this guy in uni and were quite good friends so were together a lot he's got a girlfriend and im involved with someone, most people don't know this and just think were going out and its so annoying! Whats with everyone? cant a guy and girl just be friends?!?!

Yeah i know what you mean SKA. Me and my mate we're really good friends at work, we hang out all the time, we go on breaks together, he comes to see me whilst working, i go and see him while he's working and i've been asked a few times if we're boyfriend and girlfriend and people gossiping wondering if we're going out lol. I don't mind it but i see where you're coming from.

Even funnier, years ago i was accused of being a lesbian as i was always out with a particular friend.

A mum in the playground asked me and i just said 'dont worry your not my type'!! Approach with a sense of humour and a wicked smile and it really throws people!!

I've been really good friends with a girl for about 4 years or so. She used to go out with one of my mates but people thought there was something going on soon after. I admit I fancied her at first but not any more.
Now we're both single and I'm sure people think the same now. We see each other a few times a week and I'd do anything for her but I totally agree with you. Difference is that you're both involved with people, I can see why you're annoyed.

Hmmm, obviously there must be something you hope will happen otherwise you wouldnt get so upset. Are you bothered in case he turns round and says that he can no longer spend as much time with you cos his gf has found out? Most people will think your bf and gf if they see you together a lot. Its only natural to think that. Just like if you see 50p on the floor and nobody is around. You automatically think its yours...

Well, I'm very good friends with my uncle and go out at weekends with him. The amount of times I've been asked if I was in a relationship with him is unbelievable. Man + Woman must = sex. I don't think so! I've got quite a few male friends and they are just friends. So yes, they can be just friends.

oh and i never pick up money from the street, honestly once i was walking home and i saw a roll of fiftys on the floor and i just stepped over it. It wasn't mine!!

Hmmm, SKA, i thought you said most people dont know. Well, as long has his girlfriend knows and she doesnt matter you spending a lot of time with her man, then its ok. I take it the one you say your involved with is this guy?

Oh right yeah, you really did walk over a roll of 50s SKA! I dont suppose it entered your head to maybe hand it in into the police. At least then the person who did own it would have a chance of getting it back cos its extremely unlikely that the next person to pass by and spot it will be so honest.
