i really liked this guy for a long time, and now we're dating... and he's a great guy. he's funny, good-looking, smart, he can cook. but now that i'm dating him... i don't feel the same way. sometimes i like him a lot, and sometimes i find him almost repulsive. what's wrong with me? this has happened to me before. am i just not meant to date? or maybe i just enjoy liking the guy more than dating him? i don't know. has this ever happened to anyone else?

The thrill of the chase makes you see things different but now you have him it doesnt feel the same.
Its like the honeymoon period is over.
As a man ive been like that once ive got them i think err do i really want this now and find faults with person the faults where there but blinded by love to see them
There s nothing up with you
hi bobby yeah i have been through this (while a go tho) i could never understand it? i used to be really really mean to the guy in question too, dont know why, used to make them wear certain clothes or i wouldnt go out with them that night, sometimes i thought they looked nice and other times i would be embaressed to be seen with them? all good looking blokes too? Then i'd finish with them, and when i was bored a couple of weeks later think 'Ah they werent that bad' and ring them up, arrange to meet them and then think..........YUK... strange? Unless i'm just a total bit*h? hope you sort it out, but doubt if hes the one for you if you have these feelings, i mean imagine turning up at the church for your wedding and you were having one of those days where you thought eewww : O

thanks! it's a relief to know that i'm not the only one who's like this :-)
Remember the old proverb: " Beware of getting what you wish for."

When you've got it, it often doesn't turn out to bewhat you thought you wanted. Anticipation is often more exciting that the actual achievement.

so true
I've been hurt alot in the past and treated like crap, and I always wished that I could find Someone that treated me right and now Ive got that. But its so strange because Im not used to it it can sometimes be irritating. My first serious boyfriend was lovely but I dumped him and I guess Ive always thought Im not good enough and deserve some punishment after that, but all my mates tell me I really deserve it, Ive always chased after blokes and never had their love back but now I have that its weird. Im slowly starting to get used to it, you should just start realising youre worth it too. As you get older youll realise that the excitement of the chase just isnt worth it.
i allways thought you were that type of girl.curlyperm.
