alcohol fuelled arguments

me and my boyfriend get along great. thats apart from when we have a drink. he normally says or does something completly stupid that annoys me and then i get the ump with him and it turns into a huge argument that spoils our evening. this isnt on the odd occassion it is everytime we get drunk. i dont know why we do it and we both hate it but it just happens. does this happen to anyone else?
