been seeing someone for a month or so now - seems quite keen but dont like the way he talks about how he 'saw one of the hottest girls today' etc and mentions his ex-grilfriends quite a bit too. anyway thought i'd see him tonight as is the weekend but says busy with diy!?!?! Also he smokes quite a bit of weed and has recently suffered from a impotence - is the answer staring me in the face or am i being a total FOOL!

To some people, smoking quite a bit of weed or talking about 'the hottest girl' is fine and to others its not. I fall into the latter camp, as it seems you do.
Because of the fact that this doesn't seem acceptable to you, it seems you and him differ with regard to what is/isn't okay. Although you could give it a go in trying to change these things in him, it could be like pushing water uphill doing so and if I were you, I'm not sure trying would be worth it. If nothing else, they'll be arguments later on down the line about it.
What you do is perhaps hinged on how much you like him; if you do like him, you should tell him that referring to other 'hot women' and the excessive (in your opinion) weed smoking irriates you. He might be prepared to tone it down a bit. Of course, if he doesn't want to then so be it and you should move on in your seperate directions, but if you like him, I think its probably worth a go.
If you're a bit blaise about him, then I wouldn't bother going to that much effort and just chuck him and enjoy looking for someone else!
Good luck!

Sounds suspiciously like a chap I used to know from many years ago!
He unfortunately didn't change - he kept flinging his memoirs of past ex's in my face all the time - no tact whatsoever and didn't realise just how much this upset me.
As for the smoking - well, this was also a problem and my friend was also impotent on occassions - although he would aim to please(if you know what I mean) - did get a bit pi**ed off when he had to roll one before and after tho'
I dumped him - although I often think of him, but he was a total loser and I knew he would never change - so yes, I would end your relationship with him as he will end up dragging you down to his unconfident level.
Good Luck & stay strong!!
