Why would a guy show an interest in me, but then when I flirt back he pulls away? This happened to me so I cooled off around him and now he's showing an interest in me again!

could be various reasons, especially the one Trinny gives. The point is, what do you think of it? Do you want someone who is on and off like that? Do you think it's alluring or repelling? Personally I prefer people who make up their minds and are honest about their feelings; but I know others prefer a bit of mystery. Anyway, while he's pratting around, decide whether you like his behaviour or not. If you don't, then steer clear of him.

All men pull away for several reasons. They firstly will test you to see how you react in situations, ie he might not call for a few days or never. They then know that if you react emotionally or say 'why didn't you call me?' that they have a control over you and will let you behave like that. If you give no reaction to this pulling back behaviour, he will be thinking 'why isn't she reacting?' They say men are like dogs, love attention and being made a fuss of. Let him get on with it, you get on with your own life and you'll soon see a difference. From what i have found men find it attractive when a woman has her own life, friends, hobbies etc...Make him fit into your life not the other way round..I know its very general and not all men are like this but if you chill out on him not showing an interest then he'll come back. It also takes men longer to realise how much they like someone so may be he is weighing up the pros and cons...You'll be fine! x
